Why we are doing this?
Many residents and visitors are finding it difficult to park in the area at present and feel that commuters and sports spectators for the Football, Rugby and Cricket grounds are taking up spaces on-street that should be available for their use.
The Council have received requests for Residents Parking Scheme in the area to help alleviate these problems.
Who we are asking?
Local residents, businesses, schools, charitable organisations, community groups and religious establishments.
Details:-
We will be sending out Consultation packs to all properties in the area. A residents' parking scheme would involve allocating parking spaces on the public highway for permit holders and short stay parking.
