Overview

Leicester City Council funds the following specialist domestic and sexual violence support services:

* Family Service for children and young people aged 0-19 and their parents and carers.

* Safe Home Service delivering emergency accommodation (refuge), sanctuary interventions and general housing advice.

* Perpetrator Interventions Service for those motivated to change their abusive behaviour.

In addition, there is a jointly commissioned information and support service funded by Leicester City Council, Leicestershire County Council, Rutland County Council and the Police & Crime Commissioner, which delivers support across the region.

This information and support service is for anyone aged 13 and over, affected by domestic or sexual violence. This includes the main helpline service, one-to-one support, group work, independent domestic sexual violence advisors (IDVAs), independent sexual violence advisors (ISVAs) and counselling services for victims.

All of the above services are provided by United Against Violence and Abuse (UAVA), a consortium of three individual organisations:

Living Without Abuse (LWA)

Women's Aid Leicester & Leicestershire (WALL)

Why your views matter

As part of our monitoring of these services, we want to hear your views. We have developed a short survey that should only take 5-10 minutes to complete.

Please mark the answer that most reflects your views.

You can also give more detailed comments and there is a general comments box at the end of the survey.

We will use your responses in our monitoring feedback to the services, and more generally to help shape any services we may commission in the future.

Information will be anonymous and will be treated confidentailly. Please note that we will not be able to take action relating to a specific case you might mention unless you give us appropriate contact details and consent to do so.
