Overview

The draft Statement of Community Involvement (SCI) sets out how and when the community and other stakeholders will be consulted on the preparation of Leicester City Council’s planning documents.  It also explains how the community will be consulted on planning applications. The previous SCI was produced in 2006 and requires updating due to changes in planning regulations.

Following the consultation a summary of the responses will be written.  This document will contain your name, address and organisation and will be made available to the public when the SCI is approved. If you do not want your name and address to be made public you MUST let us know.

We will also add your details to our consultation database so that we can keep you updated regarding future consultation on the new Local Plan and other planning policy documents. If you do not wish to receive this information, please let us know.
