Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland's Living Well with Dementia Strategy 2024-2028

Closed 22 Sep 2023

Opened 17 Jul 2023

Overview

We want to hear your views on the draft Living Well with Dementia Strategy 2024-2028.

Supporting and helping those living with dementia and their carers remains a priority for Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland’s (LLR) health and social care organisations.

We want the wellbeing and quality of life for every person with dementia to be uppermost in the minds of all health and social care professionals.

The strategy is for everyone affected by dementia – people with a diagnosis of dementia, their families and carers, and people and organisations who work to support them.

Why your views matter

Please read the strategy (link below) before completing the questionnaire.

We have described our planned actions for each of our priorities and we want to know your views on these. This feedback will be used to develop our detailed action plans which will support this strategy.

When the consultation closes the Dementia Programme Board will update the strategy taking into account views that have been expressed.

You can also request a paper copy of this consultation by emailing
dementia-strategy@leicester.gov.uk or calling 0116 454 2374.

What happens next

Once the consultation period has ended, the responses will be analysed. The analysis may inform further changes to the strategy, after which it will be finalised and published.

Please note: Your responses to the main part of the survey may be released to the general public in full under the Freedom of Information Act 2000. Responses to the 'About you' section of the questionnaire will be held securely and will not be subject to release under Freedom of Information legislation, nor passed to any third party.
