Heritage Action Zone survey

Overview

High Street Heritage Action Zone is an Historic England initiative which aims to "…unleash the power in England's historic environment to create economic growth and improve quality of life in villages, towns and cities".

To simplify things, we will refer to High Street Heritage Action Zones as HAZs in this survey.

Leicester HAZ is a four year programme, designed to bring lasting improvements to the city via a £1.5 million grant from Historic England.

Leicester’s HAZs are located in Church Gate and Granby Street.
