Live Well Walk & Cycle More Survey

Closed 17 May 2022

Opened 29 Mar 2022

Overview

Leicester City Council are committed to supporting local communities to become happier, healthier and fitter by offering access to a wide range of support services.

By completing this survey your views will enable us to develop our walking and cycling offer in the future. One of the council’s key aims is to help people improve their physical activity and make sustainable travel choices - for example making short journeys on foot or by cycle.

The outcomes of the survey will:

  • help shape a feasibility study exploring the demand for walking and cycling activities across the city and try to determine whether these can be offered by medical professionals on a 'Social Prescription'.
  • help identify what motivates or discourages people from walking and cycling activities, so we are able to understand how best to develop our walking and cycling offers in future.
  • help encourage and support more people to become more physically active and include active travel in their daily lives, focusing on areas of the city with the greatest health inequalities.
