Overview

The Best Endeavours, Reasonable Adjustments (BERA) framework is a guide to mainstream inclusive support and practice within schools.

It contains a range of documents that let schools know what they must do to meet the needs of children and young people with a learning disability, social and emotional health needs, an impairment, or medical need.

What makes BERA different to previous inclusive mainstream support documents is that it can also be used by children and young people, parent and carers, and professionals to challenge schools if reasonable adjustments are not in place within a school.

The BERA framework is in place for schools in Leicester and Leicestershire.
