0-19 HCP consultation (young people services)
Overview
This consultation focuses on health (school nursing) advice and support services for Year 7, 9 and 11 students. It is part of the 0-19 Healthy Child Programme (0-19HCP) - also known locally as Healthy Together - which looks after the health and wellbeing of all children and young people in Leicester under the age of 19. It is delivered by Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust Public Health Nurses (Health Visitors and School Nurses) and their teams across the city
The current contract to deliver these services is up for renewal in October 2023 and we'd like to hear your views on one aspect of the service - proposed changes to the Digital Health Contact for Year 7, 9 and 11 students.
Details of other proposed changes to wider 0-19HCP support services, including Public Health Nursing (Health Visiting) and the proposed use of a legal agreement to recommission Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust to provide future services, can be found on the main 0-19HCP consultation website.
