Changes to Overdale School Street

Overview

Since 2 December 2024, cameras have been in operation at the entrances to Northfold Road and Eastcourt Road to restrict non-residential traffic during school drop-off and pick-up times.

Since the introduction of these measures, some local residents have raised concerns that the current timings of the road closures are causing difficulties. They have requested that we review the hours during which the restrictions are in place.

The streets are currently closed from 8:00 am to 9:00 am and from 2:30 pm to 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday, on school days.

We have received a variety of suggestions for adjusting these times and we are now seeking your feedback.
