352 responses were received. 55% of responses supported the submitted proposal while 28% objected. A large number of concerns were raised about the proposal.

The proposal was not supported as it was considered to be unsustainable and failed to resolve a number of conflicts with existing policy and resident/park user concerns.

Consultation Feedback

The consultation sought to gather the views of park users and local residents to a community proposal to develop mountain bike trails at Western Park. 352 written responses were provided and these will now be used to inform a feasibility study on the proposal. The findings are in the pdf document below.
