Accident Reduction Scheme - London Road/St Johns Road
Overview
Following an investigation into recorded personal injury accidents at the junction of London Road and St Johns Road, Leicester City Council is proposing to prohibit vehicles entering St Johns Road from London Road. In addition, it is proposed to install three sets of speed cushions on St Johns Road to contrain vehicle speeds and discourage through traffic.
Why your views matter
The Transport Strategy Section is now consulting residents and other interested parties for their views on the proposed changes. This consultation will be the basis on which the City Mayor will make his decision on whether to implement the scheme or not.
