Rally Park improvements

Closed 9 Feb 2024

Opened 12 Dec 2023

Overview

We have been awarded funding to improve Rally Park to make it more accessible and attractive for users. Our vision for Rally Park includes introducing new and improved footpaths, accessible park entrances for people of all abilities, cycle tracks, and additional seating, lighting, and vegetation to improve safety and enjoyment.

We want to give residents the freedom of choice to walk, wheel, or cycle for everyday trips, particularly schoolchildren, commuters, and families from surrounding neighbourhoods who use the park for play, recreation, and social activities.

The project is funded by the UK Government.

We are seeking views on the proposed plan and to open up an opportunity to share your experiences of the park. This consultation will be used to develop the proposal further and produce a further detailed development plan and gather ideas for any future construction.

Public Consultation

There will be two drop-in events that will take place on Tuesday 6 February from 11am - 4pm and Wednesday 7 February from 2pm - 6pm at The Fosse Community Centre, LE3 5HG. Leicester City Council officers will be available to answer any questions and listen to any comments regarding the park improvements.
