We did

As a result of the support for the proposal, the City Mayor has approved implementation of the scheme which is scheduled to come into force in April 2016.

Overview

Leicester City Council is proposing to change the speed limit from 30mph to 20mph on streets around Folville Junior School.  In addition, it is proposed to install two sets of speed cushions on Waltham Avenue near to the school.

Why your views matter

The Transport Strategy Section is now consulting residents and other interested parties for their views on the proposed changes.  This consultation will be the basis on which the City Mayor will make his decision on whether to implement the scheme or not.
